SENIOR "FOSTER A SPECIAL CAT" PROGRAM

Believing that the companionship of an animal adds greatly to quality of life, we have developed our Seniors for Seniors matching program. We would like to match our senior (or special needs cats) with senior citizens who are craving the companionship of a feline friend, yet may be on a fixed income and not able to afford a pet on their own. Older kitties are mellow, ready to sit on a lap, and eager to provide attention to someone who is focused on them.

In Memory of CatADo Volunteer "Roo"

Marissa, 21, who's gigantic "animal" heart sadly left us this past Saturday, October 18th, 2014, leaves a forever empty place in the world and in the hearts of many...human and animal alike. Marissa and her mom Kellye, devoted animal lovers, have selflessly rescued and fostered kittens and cats with Cat A Do cat rescue for the past few years. Besides donating many hours of time and love for homeless kittens/cats she like to compete with her dogs in recreational sporting events. She was very artistic, with a love for photography and illustration. She designed her mother's tattoo and created costumes for fundraising events. Marissa, "Roo" as her mom Kellye calls her, will be hugely missed by all...but will be forever in our hearts....human's and animal's alike. In God's hands....

Services for Roo will be held at:

  • Mariposa Gardens
  • October 30th at 4pm
  • 400 South Power Rd.
  • Mesa, AZ 85206
